IQBT is pleased to announce the introduction of their first Rookie Set. This is a set of 12 packets of 21 tossups and 21 bonuses intended for use at easy-level high school tournaments and at some middle school tournaments. Our goal is to produce a well-written set that is a good introduction to quiz bowl for new teams and players, while maintaining an appropriate challenge of pyramidal tossups and easy/medium/hard bonuses for that difficulty level.
This set will be completed by October 1. The head editor is Clark Smith. The rest of the editing team is Jakob Boeye, Briana Magin, Eve Fleisig, and Noah Sheidlower.
The mirror fee will be $15 per team.
If you would like to reserve this set for use at your tournament, please contact Fred Morlan via email.
The distribution of the tournament is as follows, on a per-packet basis. For those unfamiliar, the numbers indicate indicates the number of tossups and bonuses per packet – for 1/1, this indicates one tossup and one bonus per round.
